Earth Day #39

by admin on March 30, 2009

On April 22, 1970, the first Earth Day was held. People all over the country made promises to help the environment. Everyone got involved and since then, Earth Day has spread all over the planet. People all over the world know that there are problems we need to work on and this is our special day to look at the planet and see what needs changing.
One person had an idea and kept working until everyone began working together to solve it. See what happens when people care about our world?

Think about what you can do for Earth Day this year.
We think Earth Day should be Everyday! We are always thinking of new ways to get people involved in helping the Earth.

Check out some great ideas here!

Earth Day is a great initiative to spread awareness on going green. However, what’s equally important is to keep the ‘going green’ process alive through the year. We need to conserve our resources on a daily basis to help the environment. For instance, one of the simplest ways to go green is water conservation. It can be done at home and is completely inexpensive. Rather it would save money by reducing the water bill! Here are some tips on water saving: http://www.bewaterwise.com/tips01.html
Now you can turn every day into an earth day!
